A Christmas post!!!

So my first Christmas post ................... Here is my first go at Christmas cards this year.  It is made from crumb cake card and whisper white ink both from Stampin Up.  I have used the medalion stamp (also SU) for the design as the backing. I then re-stamped the image and cut out the centre circle which I then raised onto sticky pads and stuck back onto the first image.   I then dressed up the card using pearly white coloured liquid pearls.  I also used a brad from the antique brads collection which are new out this October from SU.  I just think these brads are gorgeous!    Anway thanks for popping in hope to see you again soon.

Invitations x

I was asked to make some 45th Wedding Anniversary invitations for a friends parents.   I used Royal blue coloured card as I was told this was the colour for this anniversary.   I used night of navy ink to dust the edges and to stamp the flowers. The flowers were stamped using the Vintage Vogue stamp set from Stampin Up. I used card candy in silver for the centre of the flowers.
Anyway thanks for popping by! x

Well yesterday it was anyone for a bow so today I have decided to say anyone for a skirt........a rara one at that!!!

Hi all well yes I know I must be feeling unwell as this is the 2nd day running that I have posted.........(I will wait a moment while you compose yourselves...............................)     OK all sorted and bottoms on seats??!! lol      Well today I decided that I wanted to get a different effect with my ribbons but sadly I could not manage it so after  reals of ribbon later I thought this is not happening so I thought that it would have to be done with a nice weight card.   So as you can see from the picture I have come up with a frilly skirt at the bottom just to give it a different sort of look.  The first two pics are of the card with no sentiment but then I decided what i wanted to put on it so the 3rd is the completed card.
Well I will leave it with you and let me know what you think!   Thanks for popping by and pop back again soon!

Magnolia Tilda day!!

I decided that I wanted to do a Tilda card so I flicked through all my stamps and picked out these images.   I once again stuck with the vintage style with paper and ink colours in the first picture.  I used Kanban card with an embossed pattern as a base then used some scraps for the other layers.  I used garden twine to make the chunky stitching look on the edge.   The swirls are from my quickcutz 4x4 die which I sooooo love using!!!    I then had some paper flowers and leaves in a tin which I thought would go quite nice too.   I used soft suede ink from Stampin Up to give the distressed colour round the edges and on the Tilda image.  The sentiment is a Teenie weenie stamp from Molly Blooms which I have just added some glossy accents to the centre x
For the second card I used my new Nurse Tilda Stamp.   Thought she was such a sweetie when I saw her!!  I stayed with bright colours with the card stock used.  I coloured both of the Tilda's cards shown with pro markers.   On the nurse one i also used some glossy accents on the bottle in her pocket and on the syringe she is holding.   Right thats about it so thanks for popping by my blog hope to see you again soon x
Happy Crafting folks!

Wedding cards - 3 needed for the same wedding!

So I recently had a order for 3 wedding cards all for the same wedding.  Asked to be either floral or butterflies so they left me up to my own idea with that in mind so here is the finished items.
Large flower card was done using very vanilla card and crumb cake card. I used crumb cake Ink also so it matched the colour of the card.   The Stamp Set is build a blossom that also has a matching punch (thank goodness). All Card and products are from Stampin Up.

The next card has a great big cream bow tied at the side....I just love ribbon!!!     It is in cream card and gold mirror card.  I made the two ruffled flowers by punching a scalloped circle out using my stampin up punch.  I then wet these slightly using a water mister and screwed the paper bits up.  I then used some cheap hairspray as i think it gives them a tough ragged edge once dry.   Once the scallop circles are nearly dry open them out and lay a few (I had 6 for each flower layered up) on top of each other and fix together how you would like Ie brad, button etc.    The centre not bit was cut out using a Stampin Up die it has like a fake stitch look around the edge!

The third card-  I used white card and silver mirror card.   I used peel off clear glittered butterflies on the front and made their wings stand up slightly using silicone.   I used some wired ribbon and a ribbon slider on the side to try and give it a glitzy feel.

So thats about it see what you think and thanks for popping by x

My Acceptance card x

We recently have been invited to a friends party and I wanted to make my own acceptance card.   So here it is!   I used the party Edwin stamp from Magnolia Tilda......... I just love him!!   I coloured him using Tim Holtz distress Inks   - Black soot, pumice stone, Weathered wood, Antique Linen, Tattered rose and vintage photo. I found a random stamp among my collection to add the word party at the bottom which i also stamped in Black soot.  I decided that instead of a normal card I would make a tag just something a bit different.    Well a short post but I hope you like him!!
Have a great weekend all because I know Im going to have a fantastic one!!!

Card for a little one x

Well I had a card order last wek for a peppa pig card and here is the finished product.    Al the card making peppa pig topper were not very big at all so i decided to have a look about and ended up buying a sticker book and this is the pig from the front cover.   Inside were the few sticker pages where the coloured dots came from.  All i did was emboss them slightly to give them a dome shaped look.    I used my Cricut teardrop cart to  get the lettering first in shadow then without shadow.   To make the letters sparkle i used crystal from the stickles range.

Happy crafting folks xx

No its real not your imagination!!!

Well my 'just for you' card!!   I recently bought a card stack from Stampin Up in the neutrals collection......I have been thinking about it for ages  and decided yes why not!!     Im so pleased I did as the card and patterns out of this world and if you struggle for mens cards every page in it can be used for mens cards!!!   So here is a black and grey sheet.   I have used the Tim Holtz rosette die to make the flower and a die to create the flourish.   I have used Basic Grey ink also from Stampin up around the edges.  The sentiments is also funky i think that is from a set called 'oval all' i just love the stamps in that set too.
Anyway i shall leave you on peace to get over the shock in my 2nd post in a week and sneak away quietly........you never know i may add another later today!  :0)
Happy crafting guys and pop by again soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Yeeee - Haa I'm on a roll now guys!!!

3 posts in one night I bet ya can't believe it!!  Lol No?   well neither can I lol
So card number 3 - here it is!!
A gardening theme card was wanted for a friends dad but wanted something that wasnt fany but just simple so this is what i came up with!  Card topper from a mens collection done by Kanban the green card was from my bit box as i thought it went well with the topper.   The large round brad type bits i have made by just punching from a 3/4" circle punch then embossing  the back of it to give it the domed look.  Just thought its something different!
Happy crafting guys and you may now relax from your shocked state from all these posts as this is the last one for tonight x   Thanks for looking and please leave me a comment so i know you have passed by!

Oh yes its another!!!! lol x

Well here i am again yes 2 posts in one night ...... you are seeing correctly!!
Ok so you know how you go through stages when you like doing things so you just have to keep doing it or youlearn something new so you do it for the next 3 weeks non stop?!!     Well mine seems to be stamping my own backing papers at the min so here is the other backing paper i have stamped.  I got a cream piece of card and have used the baby blossom stamp set from Stampin Up to create the flowers.  Each flower and leaf is a seperate stamp so you can create a small bunch of flowers and leaves or a large bunch...you just gotta play!! I have gone around the edges with soft suede coloured ink also from Stampin Up (its one of my most used ink i just luuurrvvveeee it!!)    I made the scrunched up flowers too - get me hey!!! lol  I just love flowers and the vintage look if you have not guessed that by seeing my other posts.
Right once again night all and happy crafting x

Well its been ages since i posted on here so no fainting folks pls !!! :0)

Well i decided i wanted to use my Sense of time stamp set so here we are!!!   I used the samll cog stamp and the main clock face to make my own backing paper.  I then used another clock face embossed it on the back and stuck itonto the card.  I have done the same thing with the small dial (stamped and cut out another then embossed it).   So thats one of them i have done i think i will have more to follow.....Ooooh my craft buddies will be in shock!!
Night all and happy crafting x

Magic....... x

I was asked to do a card for a friends son who was into magic tricks and cards! She gave me these cards to use as she wanted it to have 24 on the front for his age.
I used the stampin up broadstreet alphabet to get the word MAGIC ....i just love this alpha style!!
Thanks for popping by folks!   Hugzzzzz  x

Just for you...............

Well just wanted to use up some of those scrap bits of card!!   I keep putting them in a box under my desk and i never get round to using them up so it was a bit of a mission today.    I decided to use up this pinky backing paper.   I used crumb cake card from stampin up along with stampin up ink called soft suede to get a vntage look around the edges.    The sentiment is also a stampi up set called oval all.    Wel i hope you like it!!   Please leave me a comment if you pop by just so i know you have been x

Different sort of card!!

I decided after getting my new Stampin Up die's from the new mini cat that has just come out that i wanted to use material instead of card or paper!!
I cut out the centre shape called top note from stampin up and i then stamped around the edges using vintage vogue stamp set also from Stampin Up.  I also  used this set to stamp around the edges of the brown card with SU whisper white ink.    The flower i have used is cut out with my other new die from Stampin Up i have used different coloured fabric and different textures too.   This is finished of with a bit of inking around the edges an eye let in the centre of the flower with a small bit of twine popping out of it.   The flourishes are from a quickutz 4z4 die.   The floral edge is done with a good old Martha Stewart!!
Thanks for looking folks xx

Ooooh its been ages!!!

Well its been ages since i have posted on here i must keep up!!!   :0)
Wll my first post today is a card that i made for our monthly Cricut club challenge.  This had to be  either four or five flowers cut using the cricut so this is what i came up with!!!     I used the walk in my garden cart and used the same flower but just made it smaller eac time.   I used my Martha Stewart cart to give me the boarder down the side. Other bits i used were twine, buttons and a bit a lace down the side near the boarder.
The backing paper for the card started out as plain crean but i distressed it using Tim Holtz inks and by using a stampin up stamp set to give a floral faint look.   (Oh just one last thing i also used a stimpling bush on the background which was kindly lent to me by Dee ---- Thank U!!  x

Thanks for looking folks xx

That Vintage look AGAIN!!! :0)

Well i just felt like doing something i loved the other day so i decided to go down the vintage look again!   Using Stamoin Up's Crumb cake card for the main part of the card, then a stamp set from Stampin Up to make the flowers etc. I have stayed with the brown inks all the way through and have used garden twine to give it a different look x

Thanks for looking & please feel free to leave a comment to let me know you have popped by x

My last post for the day is yet another baby card x

I have tried to get away from the Traditional cream, blue or pink for a baby card and have gone with a black and white theme.    I have used A Digi Image and have just tried to follow on with the same colours and again have used a big bow to dress it up.   I have added a sentiment saying welcome baby and have mounted it on a white glitter card  to make it stand out.   I have also added a small amount of clear glittery stickles on the pom pom on baby's hat.
Hope you like it I just think it is so cute x
Thanks for looking xxx

Mother's day card x

After using the glitter backing sheet for the piglet card I just had to use it again so I decided to make a mothers day card x
Once again I have used a Lily of the valley topper.   I have made the paper flowers on the side just to give the card a bit of a lifted / 3D look.
Thanks again for popping by and looking at my blog xx

Another floral easel card x

Just another card made for someones birthday using the easel style layout.  I have used the My MInd's eye collection of papers etc x

Thanks for looking xx

Piglet x

Well i had a card order this week for a little girl who loves pink and piglet so iI have put together a topper to go on a 8x8 card.   I have used my Winnie the Pooh cart for my cricut to cut out little piglet and the piglet wording.  I ahve used my doodle type cart to get the letters to spell 'today' & the number 6.   I used a circle punch for the balloon on made a small adition for the stem of the balloon to tie on the cord.   I have used a sticky back glitter sheet for the base of the topper and then mounted it on black to just merge it in with the piglet etc.   I have added a few pics on the making piglet and his topper then the finished thing x (Oh Pics added also so Fi can see i have used my Cricut again!!!)  :0)
Thanks for looking xx

Another Baby card x

Well again I have made another baby card!   Using the same layout of the card as my previous baby card post and also using the lily of the valley 'babies' topper I,ve come up with another card for a little tiddler. I have used the scallop punch once again to make a fancy boarder.  I have layered it in the different colours to give it more of a fancy look and hve added some pearl like beads along the edge.    I have put in two eyelets on the side and tied a big bow to dress it up a bit!   (you can never have enough ribbon I don't think!!)  Once again I've used a sentiment to finish it off.
Thanks for looking xx

Well Im on a roll today with some new bits!!!!

So as you have seen i have not posted for ages!   One thing and another and two little ones just keep me so busythese days especially now the sun has decided to show its face!!
So First i have made a notelet sort of card. I have used Crumb cake, pumpkin pie and very vanilla card from stampin Up. I have used a Stamping Up two step stamp set to do all the flowers and stems and then just added a small sentiment  and have used the scollop punch for a boarder to finish it off!
Hope it is liked x

A card for a little fella who will be 3!! ( using my Cricut machine )

Well have done a card for a lady who's grandson will be 3 shortly. She asked me to go along with his fave colour which is a pinky purple colour and he loves cars!   So here it is my Disney Cars cart came in very handy and I used 'sally' (the car) instead of lightening mcqueen as I did not want all the fancy details that that car has.

With this card not only does the little fella get the car in the colour he loves he also gets some keys too which are from jolee's topper packs.
Well will stop babbling now and hope you like my creation!
