Mothers Day card x
Well thought I best get a few made!!! Here is the first..... I am totally in love with the vintage look and the My Minds Eye range...............yummmyy!!
So with this card I decided to go for the easel look as this is one of my fave's. Like I mentioned I have used My mids Eye papers. I have used some of the crochet like ribbon along the sides of the torn boarder on the left of the card that come from the range East of India (I think :0/ ) I have once again made the paper flowers and then used a pearl like brad for the centre. I have inked all the edges with a Ink from Stampin Up its called soft suede. (I seem to use this colour every day as i think it looks fab!!) I have used My Stampin Up tag punches that are in two sizes to give you a layered effect and then have attached the tag with some garden twine just bought from my local garden centre! I have used some Rich Razzleberry ribbon which has have gathered to give it a different look. (This ribbon is also from Stampin Up) I have used my nestabilities to make the happy mothers day label on the base of the card. Thats about it.......x
Well I hope that a basic description for you xx

Baby announcement cards x
Well my sisters baby is due in 4 weeks so I wanted to make her some announcement cards that were different and special for her and my little nephew! I have used normal white hessian card which I got from the papermill shop and crumb cake card from Stampin Up for the mounting of the announcement card and the wallet it sits in. To Ink all the edges and to lightly colour wash the picture on the front I used soft suede from SU the scallop SU punch and the stamp set is also SU and the set is called Bundle of joy. I have also used eyelets in the holes where the tag goes etc as I wanted it too look nice and for the scallop tag to hang from the card and be able to swing or move about and not be stuck down to the wallet. To attach the scallop tag i have just used normal garden twine x

A friend told me to use this crumb cake card from Stampin Up and i have to say as you can see i love it!! I have had my little sewing machine out too to do a stitched edge here and there. The papers are all from the My minds eye range and i have use the soft suede ink to distress the edges this also is from Stampin Up.

Today's creations x
Well had a couple of hours this morning while my little fella was asleep so here are the two I have put together. The baby card I have used a lily of the valley topper as I think they are soooooo cute!! The card and paper used is just normal white hammer card and a sheet of 12x12 pink and white polka dot paper. I have used the Martha Stewart heart boarder punch. A couple of gems and some baby pink organza polka dot ribbon to finish it off!
Hope it gets the thumbs up xx

A couple of other bits i have been doing :0)
A couple of Christening cards that im putting together. Both need to have the names of the children put on them but I did not want put the details on and publish names and dates etc so forgive the bareness on the base of the blue card and im going to put the details on the botton of the pink card too. Hope you like them!
Both have been made using Lily of the valley images as I just think they are so cute! I have made a folded flower for the pink card and have tried to give a vintage look by using the browns and beige coloured items.
The blue card I wanted it to look fresh and nice so I decided that white and blue together looks fresh and crisp if that makes sense!!
Thanks for popping in!

As promised my Cricut club challenge piece!!
When I first started my Blog last weekend I mentioned about going to Cricut Club. We had a task to make a card but it had to have a tree or branch in it somewhere! So here is my little effort!!
Using the Cindy Loo cart Icut the tree out I got the frame around the edge from the Lacy labels cart. The owl I used from the sale-a-bration selection from STAMPIN UP. (If you spend 45.00 with Stampin Up in one transaction you get a free stamp set and there is 4 sets to choose from and this little cutie is from one of them)
I coloured him with Promarkers and used Tim Holtz distress inks on the edges.
The sentiment in the corner is also from the same Stampin up set as the owl and the ink again is Tim Holtz I then used the scallop stampin up punch to cut the scallop image out which fits perfect!
I tried to give a different effect fr a fence by using string from a local garden centre and I think it is just right for the job!
Thank you so much for checking out my page please feel free to follow my blog or leave a comment so I know yo have dropped by x
